John Patrick Cullen Jr.
March 08, 1919 - April 10, 2005
John Patrick Cullen, Jr., age 86, of Danbury, formerly of Pleasantville, NY, died on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy (Bricker) Cullen.
Mr. Cullen was born on March 8, 1919 in Bronx, NY, a son of the late John J. and Delia (Sheil) Cullen. He was raised in the Bronx and lived in Pleasantville for over 44 years moving to Danbury 3 years ago to be closer to family. He was a technician for AT & T retiring after 38 years of service and was a Past President of the Pioneers Club for AT &T retirees. Mr. Cullen was a parishioner of Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Besides his devoted wife of 59 years, he is survived by three children: Kenneth Cullen of Greenwich, Barbara Novak of New Milford, and Paul Cullen of Brookfield; six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Cullen and sister, Marie Graeff. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in Brookfield. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery,
Valhalla, NY.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Cornell Memorial, 247 White St., Danbury. Donations Information
