Dora (Sogliuzzo) Cuoco, age 84, of Danbury, formerly of Norwalk, cherished wife of Michael A. Cuoco, died peacefully surrounded by her family, at Bethel Health Care on Saturday, April 11th. She was born in Bronx, NY on May 2, 1924, daughter of the late Ralph and Emelia Sogliuzzo.
Mrs. Cuoco was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to cook and bake for her loved ones. She was an active parishioner of St. Matthew's Church in Norwalk for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Norwalk Senior Center, and enjoyed membership, along with her husband, in the Knights of Columbus. The two also loved to dance and socialize with friends and family.
In addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, Michael, she will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Rosann LaHommedieu of Bethel, Diane Disher of Danbury, and Carol Ann Cuoco of Shelton; her son, Michael A. Cuoco of North Glenn, CO; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Sogliuzzo of CA. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17th at 10:00am at St. Matthew's Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, between the hours of 3:00-5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Donations Information
