Isabel Marie Cutler
February 22, 1921 - July 29, 2009
Isabel Marie Picone Cutler, passed away on July 29, 2009, at Danbury Health Care Center. She was born on February 22, 1921 to Louis and Mabel Picone in Yonkers, New York. Soon after, her family moved to Brookfield, Ct, where her three brothers and five sisters shared the duties that farm-life brought during the depression era times.
Her brothers, Isabel, and her sisters, who were known as the "Picone Girls", developed strong work ethic and character. She loved her family dearly. She was extremely proud of her Italian heritage, continually preparing Italian food for friends and neighbors. She loved puzzles, was highly adept at solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Isabel is survived by two sons: Albert J. Cutler of Danbury, and Jack Cutler, of Norwalk; her daughter, Carolyn J. Cutler, of Danbury; her brother, Joseph (Jan) Picone; her two sisters, Rita (Richard) Raymond; and Catherine Valine; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are private, and will be held on August 1, 2009, at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm, with a service following. Burial will take place in Central Cemetery, Brookfield. Donations Information
