Irma Dally
April 20, 1930 - September 02, 2007
Our beloved mother, Irma Dally, 77, passed away on September 2nd, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Irma was born in Brazil on April 20, 1930 and was the only child of Franz and Louise Thiedmann. Irma helped her parents run their farm in Brazil where she then met and married her late husband, John Dally in 1955.
Irma and John moved to the United States in 1958. They lived in New York, New Jersey and finally settled in Connecticut in 1975. Irma and John were entrepreneurs who ran their own business and later extended their interests to become partners in a water purification company. After 37 years of marriage, John died in 1992. Irma continued to work until last year when her health diminished.
Irma is survived by her two sons, Clint Dally, wife Nancy and grandson David of Danbury and Frank Dally and wife Kelly of Bethel.
Irma will be remembered as a caring and kind person with a tremendous zest for life. Irma had a green thumb and was always gardening outdoors and growing flowers and plants indoors. She also loved listening to music, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends. Funeral Information
