Callie N. Dalton, 83, of Tower Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of John Dalton, died at her home on Wednesday, October 19, 2005. She was born in Coahoma, Texas on March 29, 1922, daughter of the late Robert M. and Olena (Pederson) Wheeler. She attended Oklahoma State University.
Mrs. Dalton worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service for twenty-five years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and spent much of her time organizing for Crafts House of Treasure sales.
In addition to her husband, John, she will be sadly missed by her four sons, Ray of New Milford, Mark of Danbury, Steven of Benninton, VT., and Wade of Hemlock, NY; her daughter, Elyse Dalton of Brookfield; her twelve grandchildren, Cody, Jesse, Jeremy, Kayla, Christopher, Becky, Matt, Katie, Jason, Stephen, Carl and Dan. She is also survived by her sisters, Roberta Sady and Dora Eubanks; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 3:00pm at the Newbury Congregational Church in Brookfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newbury Congregational Book of Remembrance or to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut.
