Myrtle B. DeLong

Myrtle B. (Mead) DeLong, 88, formerly of Kenosia Trail, Danbury, died on October 7th at Candlewood Care Center. She was born in Danbury on April 17, 1915, daughter of the late Edward J. and Anna (McGill) Mead.
Mrs. DeLong made her home in the community most of her life. She worked as an assembler for Kirk-Matz Silver Company for twenty years.
Mrs. Delong is survived by sisters, Elizabeth Barata of New Preston, and Anna Baur of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Edward Mead and sister, Evelyn Perfido Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, October 14th at 2pm. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call between 1 and 2pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
