Beatrice Downs Dring, 87, of 13 Parklawn Drive, Bethel CT died October 21, 2006 at Bethel Heath Care Center.
She was born in Newtown on October 5, 1919. She was the daughter of the late John B. and Elsie Bibbins Downs. She was the wife of the late Stanley F. Dring of Stevenson, CT. She was an active, involved resident of Heritage Village in Southbury CT for 25 years before moving to Kensington Greens. She had been a resident of The Cascades in Bethel for almost two years.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Moissonnier and husband David of Brookfield, CT, a grandson, Michael Moissonnier and wife Diana of Peoria AZ and 3 great grandchildren, David J.II, Brian and Cheyenne, a niece Sandra Guibord and husband Russ of Bristol ME, a nephew Roger Downs and wife Nancy of Oxford NE and several great nieces and a great nephew.
She was predeceased by her sister Alice Rathgeber and husband Colin of Woodbridge, CT and by her brother J. Lawrence Downs and wife Elizabeth of Newtown, CT. Funeral Information
The Funeral Service will be held at Riverside Community Church in Oxford, CT on Thursday, October 26 at 11 AM. Burial will take place following the service at the Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield, on Wednesday, October 25 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Donations Information
