Obituary of Dianne M. Duffy

Dianne M. Duffy April 23, 1936 - February 11, 2007 Dianne M. (Taubl) Duffy, 70, of Padanaram Road, Danbury, devoted wife of Patrick J. Duffy, died at her home on Sunday, February 11th. She was born in Darien on April 23, 1936, daughter of the late Frank and Harriet (Brown) Taubl. Mrs. Duffy was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed needle point and crossword puzzles. In addition to her beloved husband o 52 years, Patrick, she is survived by her three daughters, Patricia A. Hawes of Sierra Vista, Az, Ana M. Demo and her husband Michael of Danbury, Sandra H. Messer and her husband Mark of Chandler, Az; her three sons, John Duffy and his wife, Kathi of Peoria, Il., Edward Duffy and his wife, Debbie of Youngstown, Fl., Peter Duffy and his wife, Tammy of Preston; her seventeen cherished grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Taubl and his wife, Lee of Stephentown, NY; her sister, Connie Lombardo and her husband, Allen of Gaylordsville; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Cemetery in Goshen will take place in the Spring. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm.
