Cherie Ellis
March 10, 1944 - April 22, 2009
Sharon M. "Cherie" (Radke) Ellis, loving wife of 40 years to James Ellis, passed away on Wednesday, April 22nd at Danbury Hospital at the age of 65. She was born on March 10, 1944, in Park Ridge, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Maryanne (Stale) Radke.
She was a devoted mother to her five children, Caron (Neeley) Nejame and her husband Eddie of Danbury; Theron Neeley of Wolcott; Tracy Ellis Williams and her husband, Jeff of Scarsdale, NY; Billy Ellis of Brookfield; and Dwayne Ellis and his fiancé Danielle Leary of Waterbury. Devoted grandmother of Anthony and Michael Nejame, Luke and Abigail Williams, Ayranna, Faith and Jace Ellis.
Cherie and Jim had lots of love to give and became foster parents for several children. She was a National Champion Dance Roller Skater, and taught Japanese kindergartners English in Japan. She enjoyed line dancing with her girl friends, traveling to Scotland with her best friend, Jane Matteson, and was an avid reader and animal lover. Funeral Information
