Marie "Molly" (Addessi) Attanasio, 85, of Padanaram Road, Danbury, wife of the late Gerard Attanasio, Sr., died at the Lutheran Home in Southbury on Wednesday, August 29th. She was born in Danbury on November 3, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Vincenza (Pasquence) Addessi.
Molly was a lifetime member of the Danbury community. She worked as a fine clothing seamstress for many area clothing shops.
She was a parishioner of St. Peter Church, Danbury. She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated herself to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Gerard E. Attanasio and his wife Valerie of Middlebury; her two grandsons, Gerard E. Attanasio III, and Thomas J. Attanasio. She is also survived by her brother, John Addessi of Newtown; her three sisters, Angelina A. Perrett and Katherine Day, both of Danbury, and Rita Nickerson of Scottsdale AZ; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 31st at 10:30am at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
