Stephen John Fiege, 20, of Danbury, beloved son of John A. and Corrine C. (Caruso) Fiege, died at his home on Monday, June 26th. He was born in Danbury on October 10, 1985 and graduated from Danbury High School, Class of 2004.
Stephen was currently enrolled in the Academy of Western Connecticut through Danbury High School. He did clerical work for the Danbury City Hall and also worked at the Praxair Coffee Shop. He enjoyed music, especially heavy metal and the band, Metallica. He was an avid New York Yankees Fan. He loved to spend time with his brother, Jason, and the two attended many concerts and baseball games.
In addition to his parents, John and Corrine, with whom he made his home, he is survived by his brother, Jason M. Fiege; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Fiege of Fishkill, NY.; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Hilary; and his maternal grandparents, Carmen and Angela. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, June 30th at 4:00pm. Cremation and interment in Wooster Cemetery will take place at the direction of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday afternoon between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm.
