Margaret (Janssen) Flocke
July 24, 1944 - August 26, 2005
Margaret (Janssen) Flocke, 61, of Possum Drive, New Fairfield, devoted wife of Roger Flocke, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, August 26th. She was born on July 24, 1944 in Bremen, Germany, daughter of Anita (Burke) Janssen of New Fairfield, and the late Herman Janssen.
Mrs. Flocke made her home in New Fairfield since 1958. She worked for Prudential Insurance for more than thirty years, retiring as Senior Claims Processor. She was a former member of the Arion Singing Society and the New Fairfield Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Company A.
Mrs. Flocke enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially their annual trip to Canada for fishing and boating.
In addition to her mother, Anita, and her husband of forty years, Roger, she will be sadly missed by her sister, Herma Funicello and her husband, Charles of Yonkers, NY.; and her brother, Henry Janssen and his wife, Barbara of New Fairfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 29th at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, August 28th, between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00pm. Donations Information
