Madelaine Frengs
January 19, 1954 - October 11, 2007
Madelaine (Celona) Frengs, age 53, of Mudry Farm Road, Brookfield, cherished wife of Joseph J. Frengs, Jr., of the Brookfield Fire Department, died peacefully at home, in the presence of her family, on Thursday, October 11th. She was born in White Plains, NY on January 19, 1954, daughter of the late Peter and Jean (LoMonaco) Celona. She was a graduate of Westlake High School in Thornwood, NY.
Madelaine worked for the Taunton Press in Newtown for ten years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department.
Most importantly, Madelaine was a devoted wife and mother who created a loving home for her family. She will be sadly missed.
In addition to her husband of 33 years, Joseph, she is survived by her son, Peter Frengs, and his fiancée, Maryann Jakubek; her daughter, Jodi Reina, all of Brookfield; her two sisters, Joanne Spiridiglozzi and her husband, Jim of Mount Vernon, NY, and Agatha McMahon and her husband, Tom of Croton on Hudson, NY. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 17th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial in Central Cemetery, Brookfield, will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday between 7-9pm and Tuesday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations Information
