Lois Harriet Furlong March 11, 1917 - October 17, 2009 Lois Harriet Furlong Lois Harriet Furlong, 92, of Danbury died on Saturday, October 17th at Danbury Hospital . She was wife of the late Joseph F. Furlong and daughter of the late William and Grace (Ruscoe) Foley. Lois worked at Danbury Hospital for 35 years in the Public Relations Department and was a life long member of Central Christian Church of Danbury . She is survived by her son; Thomas Furlong and wife Susan of Winterville NC; her daughter; Janice Sturges and husband Martin of Danbury; grandchildren, Michael Girgenti, Kimberly Sturges, Heather Furlong and Meghan Dennis; her sister, Noreen Riley; great grandchild, Addyson Dennis and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 20th at 11:00am at the Central Christian Church of Danbury with burial at Wooster Cemetery to follow. Family will receive friends on Tuesday October 20th between the hours of 10:00am to 11:00am at Central Christian Church on West St. Danbury .
