Josephine (Grieco) Fusco, of Danbury, wife of the late Carmine Fusco, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, September 22nd. She was born in New York, NY on November 13, 1912, daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Langone) Grieco.
Mrs. Fusco was a talented seamstress who worked for Scarpelli Co in New York. She attended St. Peter Church in Danbury.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbara DeLuca and her husband, Albert of New Berlin, NY; her son, Robert Fusco and his wife, Linda of Brookfield; her four grandchildren, Jamie and Jessica Fusco, Michael DeLuca, and Barbara Hoag; as well as five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her three brothers, Patrick, Frank and Albert Grieco; and three sisters, Lucy Grieco, Julia Langone, and Edith Scrade. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield on Wednesday at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, New York.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Tuesday between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm.
