Obituary of Mary Frances Gaeta

Mary Frances Gaeta October 10, 1937 - November 30, 2005 Mary Frances (Melle) Gaeta, 68, of Whiscoiner Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of Dominic J. Gaeta, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 30th. She was born in Danbury on October 10, 1937, daughter of the late Frank C. and Rose (Franco) Melle. She was a graduate of Danbury High School. Mrs. Gaeta worked beside her husband for many years at their store, General Television. They later opened the Arizona Shop which was in operation for twenty-five years. She and her husband were also well known for their operation of the Candlewood Valley Apiary in Brookfield. She belonged to several sewing and quilting groups in the local area. In addition her husband of 41 years, Dominic, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Dr. Holly Ann Gonzalez, Pharm,D Rph. and her husband Jeffrey of Ruffin, North Carolina and Kimberly J. Gaeta of New Milford; and her two grandsons, Jacob and Gabriel Gonzalez. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose Church in Newtown on Tuesday, December 6th at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday, December 5th between the hours of 6 and 8:00pm.
