Margaret Edna (Remillard) Gallagher, age 90, of Brookfield, wife of the late Charles B. Gallagher, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 27th. She was born in Chicopee, MA on October 9, 1917, daughter of the late Wilfred and Aurora (Beauregard) Remillard.
Maggie was a registered nurse in Mount Vernon, NY and then became one of American Airlines first stewardesses in 1940. She was an antique dealer who owned and operated Antiquity Corners in Branchville. Maggie was a member of the New Milford Sportsmen Association and loved fishing and pheasant hunting.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynn J. Collins and her husband Steve of Jackson, MI; her son, Patrick R. Gallagher and Linda Harrison of Danbury; her sisters Lorraine McMahon of Ridgefield and Lee Masi of Feeding Hills, MA; and her niece Lori McCleery of Danbury. Funeral Information
