Mae Josephine Gallo, formerly of Litchfield, wife of the late Joseph A. Gallo, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, October 23rd. She was born in New York, NY on October 25, 1910, daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Dueik) Cuozzo.
In her early years Mae was an accomplished bookkeeper for American News Company. Once she married, she devoted her life to her husband, son, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mae will be sadly missed by her son, Robert Gallo and his wife, Virginia of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Christine Cummings of Brookfield, Michael Gallo of Brookfield; Daniel Gallo of New Fairfield, and Linda Mills of Bethel; her great grandchildren, Michael Cummings, Courtney and Emily Mills and Tristan and Donovan Gallo. She is also survived by her nephews, Donald, Robert, and Kenneth Cuozzo. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 27th at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, October 26th between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00pm. Donations Information
