Charles H. Gartland Jr.

Charles H. Gartland, Jr., age 88, of Cross St. Danbury, husband of the late Grace V. (Golden) Gartland, died at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, June 22nd. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 5, 1920, son of the late Charles H. Sr., and Anna (Scheer) Gartland.
Mr. Gartland was the Vice President of Acousticon Technipower in Danbury for more than 40 years.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Chuck Gartland and his wife, Leslie of Danbury; his two daughters, Patricia Cooper and her husband, David of Bridgewater, and Peggy Addessi and her husband, Glen of Danbury; his seven grandchildren, Chuck and his wife, Elaine, Shawn, and Keith Gartland, Kevin and Michael Cooper, Amanda Bahr and her husband, Jared, and Charlene Addessi-Clark; and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Anna Diemond of Hackensack, NJ; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Edith Cusack. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, June 26th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday between the hours of 6:00 - 8:00pm. Donations Information
