Jason Lee Glatzel, age 34, of Oak Grove Road, Brookfield, cherished son of Deborah (Glatzel) Johnson of Sherman, died in Arkansas on Thursday, October 4th. He was born in Danbury on July 9, 1973. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School, Class of 1991.
Jason was an avid Country Western, Rock and Blues musician and a true troubadour. He traveled with his music and proudly performed in a music video with country western singer, Pam Tillis. He had a passion for his Harley Davidson, and also enjoyed riding horses.
In addition to his mother, Deborah, he will be sadly missed by his son, Cody Lee Glatzel of Danbury; his stepfather, Arne Johnson of Sherman; his brothers, Jacob and Jeremy Johnson of Sherman; and his maternal grandparents, Carl and Judy Glatzel of Brookfield. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, on Tuesday, October 9th between the hours of 5-8pm.
