Luis D. Gonzalez, age 60, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Danbury, died at his home on Monday, October 20th. He was born in Danbury on January 15, 1948, son of the late Dr. Luis and Marie (Kaltenbacher) Gonzalez. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, class of 1965.
Luis was a free-lance photographer, but was also most recently employed by Macy's in Brooklyn. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, loved nature and enjoyed frequent visits to his hometown of Danbury. He was a good friend to all and spent time helping his neighbors. Luis was a diabetic and was always offering helpful information to others who suffered with the disease.
He will be sadly missed by his sister, Isel Gonzalez of Danbury as well as several relatives living in Florida. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 27th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
