Gertrude (Munster) Grabert, of Richards Road, Brookfield, wife of the late John W. Grabert, died on Sunday, January 4th, at Danbury Health Care Center at the age of 95. She was born in Derby on November 16, 1908, daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Mohr) Munster.
Mrs. Grabert worked in the packing department of Duracell for ten years. She was a member of St. James Church in Danbury. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and loved square dancing.
She will be sadly missed by her son, John Grabert and his wife, Irene of Danbury; a daughter, Jean Pflomm and her husband, Heinz of Brookfield; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Grabert. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Wednesday, January 7th at 10:30 am with Pastor Iris Peterson of St. James Church officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call at 9:30am, at the Funeral Home on Wednesday. Donations Information
