Obituary of Gwendolyn Gregory

Gwendolyn Gregory June 03, 1919 - June 21, 2007 Gwendolyn (Rhea) Gregory, 88, of Knollcrest Drive, Brookfield, wife of the late J. Morgan "Lefty" Gregory, died peacefully at her home, Thursday, June 21st, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 3, 1919, daughter of the late BK and Kathryn (Glover) Rhea. Mrs. Gregory made her home in Brookfield for the past 24 years. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who maintained the family home for her husband and daughters. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Deborah Goane, with whom she made her home in Brookfield, and Kathy Maier of North Carolina; her six grandchildren, Andy, Jodi, and Julie Maier, Karyn, Kimberly and Gordon Goane; and her two great granddaughters, Kaley Goane and Emerson Rose Maier. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Newbury Congregational Church on Monday, June 25th at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Middle Patent Rural Cemetery, Bedford, New York. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, June 24th between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.
