Obituary of Victoria Greist

Victoria Greist April 01, 1916 - February 21, 2005 Victoria Greist age 88 of Beechtree Drive, Brookfield died on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Danbury Hospital. Vicoria was born on April 1, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York. In her early years Victoria graduated from Mt. Loretta High School in Staton Island, NY. She later married Richard Greist and they spent many loving years of marriage raising their four children. Mrs. Greist was a home maker and was known for her great love of her Husband, children, and grandchildren and was very proud to be a great grandmother. In her spare time Victoria enjoyed going shopping, reading and cooking. Mrs. Griest leaves to survive her: One son: Frank (Josephine) Scida of Long Island, 3 Daughters: Connie Goodrich of New Jersey, Elaine (George) Cappolla of Florida and Rita Ann Scida of Brookfield, CT. One Brother: Joseph Vigilante of Ellenville, New York and one Sister: Rita Lang of California. Mrs. Griest also leaves 11 grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren along with Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February, 25 at 10:00 am St. Margarite Bougeoys Church in Brookfield, CT. Interment will follow in the Middletown State Veteran Cemetery.
