Mildred C. (Ptak) Hagley, age 86, of Pocono Road, Brookfield, cherished wife of Walter E. Hagley, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, April 9th. She was born in Stratford on November 13, 1922, daughter of the late Paul and Caroline (Korzy) Ptak.
Mrs. Hagley was a loving homemaker who devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
In addition to her beloved husband of 53 years, Walter, she is survived by her two sons, Richard J. Hagley of Brookfield, and Edward W. Hagley and his wife, Gertrud of Gaithersburg, MD; her daughter, Carole A. Lockwood and her husband, Ronald of Watertown; and her two grandsons, Alexander V. and Benjamin W. Hagley. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Ptak of Brookfield; her sister, Frances Kodz of Brookfield; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 15th at 10:00am. at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, New Milford.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, on Tuesday, April 14th between the hours of 5:00 - 8:00pm. Donations Information
