Dale D. Hamed, 37, of Danbury, devoted husband of Elizabeth M. (Mazzuchelli) Hamed, died at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, May 6th. He was born in Danbury on July 27, 1969, son of Thomas Hamed of Fort Meyers, Fl. and Theresa (Schimanskey) Hamed of Danbury. He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School, Class of 1987.
Dale was the service manager for Langs Auto in Brookfield. He enjoyed being a member of the Bethel Business Men's Soft Ball League and bowled with the Monday Night Brookfield Men's League at Brookfield Lanes. He was also an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, Thomas and Theresa, and his wife, Elizabeth, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Dayle E. Hamed of Danbury; his two stepchildren, Julia and Jonathan Podlaha, both of Danbury; his five brothers, Richard and his wife, Christine of New Milford, Thomas and his wife, Luz of Danbury, James and his wife, Kimberly of Danbury, Andrew of Denver, CO, and Master Sgt. Roger Hamed of the USAF and his wife, Nora. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. David Mazzuchelli of Cottonwood, Az.; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 11th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Burial in Mountainview Cemetery, New Fairfield will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, May 10th between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
