Mary M. "Pork" (Ashby) Harrison, of Durant St., Danbury, died at her home, on Saturday, December 10th. She was born on May 28, 1950, daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Himple) Ashby. She attended Danbury Schools.
Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker who maintained the family home. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was affecntionately known as "Pork"
She will be sadly missed by her son, Norbert Batista of Danbury; her daughters, Sandra Moore Britto of Danbury, and Kimberly Moore of Danbury; her grandchildren, Michael, Eric, Aaron, Nicole and Erykah. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Ashby of New York and Joseph Ashby of Waterbury; her sisters, Betty DeLong of Danbury and Shirley Fletcher of Vermont; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by eight siblings. Funeral Information
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street Danbury, on Thursday, December 15th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
