Pamela Lee (McAtee) Hawkins, 52, of Broad Street, Danbury, died entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, October 13th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury on June 7, 1953, daughter of Wanda (Boughton) Stone and the late William J. McAtee.
Mrs. Hawkins worked as a Sales Clerk for Bradlees Department Store. She was a member of New Heights in Danbury and the American Legion Post 100 in Bethel. She loved poetry, crocheting, and was an artist in oil painting. She was a first runner-up in the Miss Teen Pageant in Palisades, New Jersey in 1966.
In addition to her mother Wanda Stone of Danbury, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Karen Kochies and her husband William of New Milford; her son, Brian Hawkins and his wife, Diana of Danbury; and her sister, Leora Washburn of Newtown. She is also survived by her aunt, Charry Boughton of Bethel; two nephews, Richard and Ryan; her niece, Sabrina; and a cousin, Sharon Forbes of Bethel. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, at 10:00am on Monday, October 16, 2005 with Reverend Barry Fredericks of Grace Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home on Sunday, October 15th between the hours of 3 and 5pm. Donations Information
