Effie Salem Hennessey
May 04, 1929 - March 02, 2008
Effie Salem Hennessey, 78, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 2. Born and raised in Danbury, she married William Hennessey in 1952.
Effie and Bill lived for many years in Brookfield, and raised their family there. Effie was a wonderful woman with unbounded love for her large extended family and many friends. She loved to write and read and never missed an opportunity to tell her family and friends how much she loved them. A licensed practical nurse and a school teacher, she lived a full life, always seeking knowledge. Bill predeceased Effie in 1986. She was also predeceased by her five siblings, Oscar, Joseph, Pauline Holick, Josephine Holick and Kathleen Struski, and by her second husband, Michael Moros. Nothing meant more than the frequent visits with her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and their children.
She will be forever cherished by her son, William and daughter-in-law, Jevera, of Stamford; her daughter, Nanci Hennessey of Danbury, and grandchildren John Render of Torrington, Melissa Render and Brandi Hennessey of Danbury, and Rachel Hennessey of Stamford. Funeral Information
