Obituary of Dennis W. Herpel
Dennis W. Herpel Jr.
May 16, 1964 - October 30, 2009
Dennis W. Herpel, Jr., lovingly known as "Chip," of Winsted, died on Friday, October 30th in Danbury. He was born in Danbury on May 16, 1964, beloved son of Lynne (Murphy) Herpel of Brookfield, and the late Dennis W. Herpel, Sr. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School, Class of 1983.
Chip's first love after his family was the food and beverage business. Although he was employed by AT & T for many years, he maintained that his happiest years were spent behind the bar at Down the Hatch in Brookfield.
Chip was a people person - outgoing, affectionate, loving and completely devoted to his two young children who lived with him. He was a musician, an artist, a dreamer, lover and a master of the deal, always thinking, always on the move.
Chip will be sadly missed by his mother, Lynne; his brother, Darrin; and his cherished children, Jenna and Ryan, whom he always told that he loved more than the moon, and the stars. He is also survived by his friends and coworkers at AT &T; and his best friend, Scott Parente who he loved since they were little boys. Funeral Information
