Berta (Voegtlin) Herrmann, 99, wife of the late George Herrmann, died on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Danbury Health Care Center. She was born in Weil am Rhein, Germany on November 16, 1906, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Bertha (Weber) Voegtlin.
In 1957 she immigrated with her children to the United States and settled in Danbury.
She was a member of the Arion Chorus.
She is survived by her two sons, Karl-Heinz and his wife, Waltraud of Florida, Gerhard (Jerry) Brunner of Danbury, and daughter Lilo Pap-Nemes and her husband, John of Danbury; three grandchildren, Gabriele Spaziani, Gregory Pap-Nemes and fiancé Christina Schlichting, Frank Brunner and his wife, Tamara; her six great grandchildren, Angelo, Amanda, Kira, Nicole and twins Luke and Joshua. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Voegtlin and his wife Renate of Germany; as well as several nieces and nephews of Germany. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
