Robert August Horberg
February 17, 1928 - January 20, 2006
Robert A. Horberg, 77, of Richmond Ave, Danbury, formerly of New Fairfield, husband of the late Catherine (Coggswell) Horberg, died at New Milford, Hospital on Friday, January 20th. He was born in New Fairfield on February 17, 1928, son of the late Charles A. and Edith (Carlson) Horberg.
Mr. Horberg worked as a machinist for Horberg Grinding Company in Bridgeport. He was also a custodian for Western Connecticut State University for more than 24 years.
He enjoyed being a School Bus Driver for more than twenty years and was lovingly known by the students as Mr. H.
He was a member of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield.
He will be sadly missed by his five children, Karen Reiske and her husband, Charles of Danbury, Deborah Horberg of Danbury, Karl Horberg and his wife, Brenda of Danbury, Linda Logan and her husband Edward of Stormville, NY., and Erik Horberg and his wife, Jody of Arkansas; his twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Olga Turosky of Danbury and Emma Graham of Rochester, NY.
In addition to his wife, Catherine, Robert was predeceased by his siblings, Henry, Arthur, William, Harold, Richard, Esther Taylor and Selma Horberg. Funeral Information
