Obituary of Bodil Horree

Bodil Horree February 13, 1942 - May 25, 2007 Bodil (Post) Horree, 65, of Tower Road, Brookfield, beloved wife of Jon D. Horree, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, May 25th. She was born in Yonkers, NY on February 13, 1942, daughter of the late Carl and Ida (Mortensen) Post. Mrs. Horree made her home in Brookfield in 1970. She worked as a secretary for Pitney-Bowes in Danbury for more than thirty years. She enjoyed sewing clothing for herself and her family; and working in her flower garden. In addition to her husband of 44 years, Jon, she will be sadly missed by her son, David T. Horree of Brookfield; her daughter, Deborah Barlow and her husband, David of Clinton; her three grandchildren, Kayla and Courtney Horree, and Dylan Barlow. She is also survived by her brother, Henry Post of Deer Park, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Friday, June 8th at 7:00pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.
