Charles N. Horton
May 22, 1926 - November 24, 2005
Charles Nelson Horton, 79, of East Pembroke Road, Danbury, devoted husband of Eleanor (Baisley) Horton, died at Laurel Ridge, Ridgefield, on Thursday, November 24th. He was born in Danbury on May 2, 1926, son of the late Chauncey and Hattie (Sherwood) Horton. He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School.
Mr. Horton was a lifetime member of the Danbury community. He worked as a purchaser for Western Connecticut State University. His hobbies included model rail roads.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Alberta Wilcox of Pelam, NH; his stepdaughter, Judy Denault; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his stepson, Donald Hopkins and stepdaughter, Penny Buter
