Armand Mario Italiano, age 82, of Heritage Village, Southbury died on May 13, 2005 at Danbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Rose (Palermo) Italiano.
Mr. Italiano was born in Bronx, NY on January 23, 1923, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Guaragna) Italiano. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was stationed in the Pacific Theater. For over 50 years, Mr. Italiano was the owner and operator of Bartel's Florist located in the Bronx. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Besides his wife of 64 years, he is survived by a daughter Marie Narowski and her husband Peter of Danbury; two grandchildren: Keri and Eric Narowski; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 10:00 at St. Peter's Church. Entombment will follow in St. Peter's Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2005 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
