June 13, 1949 - May 28, 2008 Joseph W. "Jazz" Jasmin, Jr.
Joseph W. "Jazz" Jasmin, Jr., age 58, of Forty Acre Mountain Road, Brookfield, devoted husband of Kathleen Marie (Doerr) Jasmin, died at New Milford Hospital on Wednesday, May 28th. He was born in Danbury on June 13, 1949, son of the late Joseph W., Sr. and Isabel (Short) Jasmin.
Jazz was a roofer who owned and operated Jasmin Co., in Danbury. He was an active member of the Hat City Riders motorcycle club, and AA.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by his son, Joseph Lanigan of Georgetown; a granddaughter; his four sisters, Linda Moran of Palm Beach, FL, Cheryl Caron of New Milford, Jacqueline Bearce of Newtown, and Cindi Aragi of Brookfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 2nd at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. Donations Information
