Kathleen A. Jaxheimer died April 16, 2005 at Ashlar of Newtown in Newtown. Formerly of Casper Street in Danbury, she was the wife of the late Archibald H. Jaxheimer and was 99 years old.
Born in Bath, Pennsylvania April 20, 1905, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Woodring) Buss.
Mrs. Jaxheimer was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Newtown Ward. She devoted her life to her family and home and in her residence at Ashlar. Kathleen remained an active participant in the patient activities such as Bell Choir and the Garden Club.
Kathleen is survived by her loving children: Bruce A. Jaxheimer and his wife Pam of Bozrah, Conn.; Kirsten Purdie and her husband Joel of Danbury; and Karen Bartolutti. and her husband Joseph of Devon, Conn.; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Buss and sister Isabelle Buss. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, 11 a.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury, with Bishop David Oaks officiating.
Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Danbury.
