Jean W. (Hartell) Jones

Jean W. (Hartell) Jones, 79, of Main Street, Danbury, wife of the late Edward R. "Buddy" Jones, died on Monday, December 8th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury on August 17, 1924, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Gulla) Hartell. She was a graduate of Danbury High School.
Mrs. Jones was a lifetime member of the Danbury community and attended St. Joseph Church. She worked as a lab technician for National Semiconductor in Danbury for more than twenty years. She was a devoted homemaker and was happiest spending time with her family.
Mrs. Jones will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marnee Straiton and her husband Buzz of Danbury; her son, E. Roger Jones III and his wife, Kathy, of Danbury; five grandchildren, Missi Tohill and Dan Straiton, Meredith, Becky and Kevin Jones; four great grandchildren, Brianna and Ryan Straiton, Abigail and Olivia Tohill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 11th at St. Joseph Church, Danbury at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
