Ray was one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. He had a love of life and raised an incredible family. I am forever thankful that I had the opportunity to speak with him and Mabel for many years. I am saddened by this loss, but I know he left a remarkable family behind that will always carry on his legacy. May he rest in peace and may his family find the strength and bond together in this moment of hardship. Ray made this world a better place and enhanced the lives of so many. That is something that I will never forget about him.

What more can be said than we loved you dearly and what a great gift from God to bring you to us. It is sad that we only became aware of each other so late in life, but in these few short years I have learned more about our family than I ever knew or understood before. Such is the gift of family who are unconditional in their love. You were a great example of love without terms. We enjoyed sharing stories and connecting with family we never would have known but for your graciousness and desire that the next generation must not be hindered as we were and establish a connection of love and kinship. You will be deeply missed by us. We also share our condolences with all of our new found cousins who have embraced us so willingly and we pledge to help you keep "Uncle Pete's" legacy alive for our future generations. Let us continue forward and embrace those things that bind us. I believe that is the greatest gift I received from him and can offer to you. God bless and comfort you all.

I still smile when I think of seeing Pete every Sunday.
He welcomed as a friend from the first day we met .
Thank you to the Williams family for sharing Pete with all of us.
I felt like he was an uncle to me.
All my sympathies on his passing. I know tge last few months were very difficult. May he rest forever in God's arms.
