While I never met Mrs. Ackerman, I am fortunate to call Laura my best friend. I've also been able to meet Donald and Margaret, Ellen, Lois, Anne and Patrick over the many years of our friendship. While facing many challenges, Mrs. Ackerman raised a fine family and passed on strong values to her children and grandchildren. May she rest in peace, and may the family find peace.
