Obituary of Kristopher Coons

Kristopher Kevin Grant Coons, age 35 of Torrington, CT, passed away on Wednesday July 17, 2019.   Kristopher was born on December 15, 1983 in Danbury to Kevin Coons and Kim Gore.  He was the loving husband of Nicholas Coons.

Kristopher struggled with an illness for which he has now found peace.  He had a heart of gold and would give you whatever you needed.  Kristopher loved fishing, VW Beetles and spending time  with friends and family.  He had a special place in his heart for his Uncle Jamie who was there to welcome him into his heavenly home.

Kristopher will be sadly missed by his husband, Nicholas Coons; his father Kevin Coons and his wife Charlene; his mother Kim Gore and her companion Michael Clarkson; his grandmother Joan Gore; his siblings: Kayla Archiere and her husband Patsy, Jennifer Sturges, Samantha Sturges, Jessica Carlson, Johnny Carlson and his wife Kristen, and Jake Carlson;  his brothers-in-law Joseph and Theodore Weston, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Kristopher was predeceased by his grandfather Robert Gore, his grandfather and grandmother Grant and Mona Coons, and his uncle Jamie Gore.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at 11am at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.  Visitation will begin at 10am and go until the time of service.  Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
