Obituary of Anthony Jose Hernandez
Anthony (Ant, Tony) Jose Hernandez passed away at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, August 8th at the age of 34. He was born in La Cuidad de Moca, Dominican Republic on July 22, 1985. He is the beloved son of Bacilia Reynoso.
Anthony attended Danbury Highschool and Job Corp in Massachusetts for a trade in landscaping. During summer breaks he worked in the Mr. Softy ice cream truck and more recently worked with moving companies in multiple cities of Connecticut. With an entrepreneur spirit, he taught himself how to cut men’s hair and used himself, his children, and his friends as guinea pigs. He worked under the business name of BCC (Best Connecticut Cut) Designs. Anthony was charismatic, a jokester with an infectious laugh who made friends with everyone he met.
Anthony will be sadly missed by his mother, Bacilia Reynoso; his two cherished children, Noah Anthony Hernandez and Jonah Anthony Hernandez; his grandmother, Enemencia Garcia; and his sister, Catherine Calderon and other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday August 16th at 12:30pm. Cremation will follow as directed by the family.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday morning between 11:00am – 12:30pm.
