Obituary of Benjamin Pawl
Benjamin J. Pawl, 65, of Danbury, beloved husband of Michelle Zanolli Pawl, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, September 20th. He was born in Pittsburgh PA on February 3, 1954, son of the late John Pawl and Evelyn Argo Pawl.
Benjamin spent his career working in medical administration. He was also a volunteer at the National Organization for Rare Disorders. Benjamin played tennis for Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh; as well as at Penn State University. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and family. Benjamin loved to spend time fishing and bowling.
In addition to his wife, Michelle, he will be sadly missed by his three children, Aaron Pawl, Blake Pawl, and Cody Pawl; his grandson, Landon Pawl; his sister, Jan Strouzas and her husband, Kosta; and his stepsons, Maxwell and Mario Mortara. He will be missed by his loyal dog Rudy.
Guests will be received beginning at 2:00pm at Cornell Memorial Funeral Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday the 28th of September with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm.
