Obituary of Rose M. Brunetti
Rose M. Brunetti, 92, of Danbury, died at Hancock Hall in Danbury on Tuesday, November 5th. She was born in Danbury on November 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Louise (Leo) Brunetti. She was a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1944 and worked many years for Sears Roebuck.
Rose was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was a longtime member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Colonna Lodge O.S.I.A, holding multiple offices in both organizations.
Her family was the most important part of her life and she was happiest spending time with those she loved. She was very devoted to her mother and father.
She will be missed by her seven nieces and nephews, Thomas Critelli, Donna Ireland, Robert Brunetti, Sr., and his wife, Ramona, William Brunetti, Sr., and his wife, Joanne, Ann Marie Dumm and her husband, Eric, James Carlo and his wife, Antonella, and Annette Carlo; as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Donald Brunetti, Marie Critelli, Modesto Brunetti, and Antoinette Carlo; and her nieces, Louise Swarr and Sharon Carlo.
The family would like to thank Elmarie Anthony for her many years of loving and compassionate care of Rose.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 12th at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday morning between 9:00am – 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
