Nicole, such a beautiful tribute to your dad! You captured so many important times in his life. The most important part being his family. To walk you down the aisle and watch Sophia & Violet growing up was a bonus that he treasured dearly.
We’re going to miss his weekly phone calls. Our day was Tuesday and it was always “where are you, how’s everyone, how are Colin’s numbers?” But when asked how things were, we got “fine, I love you, goodbye.” Five minutes; you were lucky to get to 5 minutes!
A few of his favorite things: the cheesecake at the exit 10 diner, the shangala cookies we make for Christmas, sharing his birthday with his brother, the UCONN girls’ basketball team, and watching the waves on the beach at Chincoteaque.
We’re going to miss him so much!
