More than 25 years ago David made me a Noah's Ark toy chest for my niece, who was about to be born. It was used by my niece and nephew, and is now safely tucked away for the future use of their children. My family enjoyed the Noah's Ark toy chest so much that when another cousin was starting a family we ordered one more from David. These beautiful crafted arks will live on for many future generations in the Burke family. I remember David as a kind and gentle man who took great pride in his work.

Emma I'm so sorry to hear of David's passing. I served with David on the Wooster Cemetery board. He was dedicated to the preservation of nature and history at the cemetery. He will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.

David was a wonderful person and a great Danbury Historian. He will be greatly missed by the members of The Wooster Cemetery Board of Directors, myself included. My prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow.
