Uncle Matt was an outstanding musician. To the public he was known as "The Sound of Sinatra." The musicians that he played with truly knew his talent as a player and arranger. If he was singing Sinatra, the band was probably reading the music from Matt's carefully hand written arrangement...and reading it closely since Matt had a way of making every instrument earn it's keep!
Uncle Matt played with some of the best musicians in Manhattan, and was a proud alumnus of the Manhattan School of Music (B. Of Music, M. Music Ed, M. Musicology).
