My condolences go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Richard at this difficult time. Mr. Schutz made an indelible impact with RKE, both in the productions he enhanced with sound and light, and in the young technicians he mentored. His legacy will live on in their continued work and as they pay-it-forward with those that follow. The work of sound and lighting is most effective when it goes "unnoticed" and so his work, by design, is selfless. RIP Richard Schutz.

We are all saddened by your father's passing. He was always watching out for us at the dance studio and we called him our guardian angel. Our condolences to your entire family.

We will miss your presence at the Palace, and in so many other venues around the area. RKE has contributed so much to so many, the public unaware of the support provided behind the scenes of the events that brought them so much joy. I’ll miss your no nonsense, get it done attitude, and the wit of your T-shirts. Because of your inventions, your partnerships, your mentor ships, and your spirit, you’ve left this earth a better place and those who knew you are richer for it.

I just want to say how sorry I am for the loss of you father, brother, and grandfather. It is always hard to lose someone you have loved. Keep in mind any good memories you might have and think of those times when you feel extra sad. He is at peace now, may God rest his soul!
