Obituary of William "Billy" Schulze
William J. “Billy” Schulze, Sr., age 46, of Brookfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2020. He was the husband of Stephanie (Lewis) Schulze of 17 years.
Billy was born on March 25,1974 in Danbury, son of William J. Schulze of Brookfield and Patricia G. (Samaha) Schulze of Danbury. He formerly worked as a security guard. He was an avid New York Yankee’s fan. Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his best friend, his son Billy Schulze, Jr. He shared his love for fishing and ATV riding with his son. These moments brought them much joy together. He is also survived by his sister Kimberley McDermott and husband Richard of Danbury, sister-in-laws Lisa Collinge and husband Mark of Danbury, Laura Lewis of Brookfield, nieces and nephews Shawn, Daniel and Katie Collinge, Ryan and Jessica McDermott, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his in-laws, maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his uncle, Jeffrey Schulze.
A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on May 28, 2020 in St. Peter's Cemetery in Danbury. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are welcome, but are requested to respect social distancing and cemetery policy by remaining in rheir vehicles
