So many amazing memories ❤️ New Years, birthdays, graduations, and my favorite...Christmas eve’s. You always knew when two girls snuck into the bar for a few sips but always just shook your head and laughed. I will always remember your contagious smile, your warm heart, and your bravery when Judy and I made you all those delicious cakes from her make it and bake it oven.
You will never be forgotten and will forever stay in our hearts

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was able to work with Jim for a few years at Imperial. Always a stand-up and humorous guy. Never a dull moment when he was around. Glad I was able to know him. Rest in Peace Jimmy!

My condolences to the Palardy family. Jim was a wonderful person, funny and always had a good joke. I enjoyed being one of his coworkers even though we really never worked for long in the same Post Office. Rest In Peace Jim.

Such sad news. We lived across the street from the Palardy family on Hoyt’s Hill in Bethel, such wonderful memories. From the day your family moved in you always treated me as I was one of the family, from the Labor Day parties, to barbecues at West Redding Firehouse, and of course, endless hours and days of 10 hits (baseball) in your front yard. Mr. Palardy was a true class act. He was unassuming, warm, and hilarious. He loved to laugh and always made those he was around laugh with him and feel good. I always looked forward to St. Patty’s day at the club and the Irish festivals as I was assured to see both him, Mrs. Palardy and the kids. He would instantly put a smile on your face. He was such a devoted family man and someone we can all look up to. Mrs. Palardy, Jim and Judy, I hope all the family memories, and the recognition that his life was indeed, a life well lived gives you some comfort at this difficult time.

As a young girl living across the street on Fairfield Ridge from Jimmy, I had the biggest crush on him. During his time in the Navy, when he came home on leave, he always brought me a swirled huge lollipop. So I always used to say he was my first boyfriend.
When he married I was happy because I liked his wife, Kathy.
You were the perfect couple and I see you were married 50 years. That’s an awesome accomplishment these days.
Such a wonderful family that I always adored. Many years later my younger sister and a Judy were friends.
Over the years I occasionally would see Kathy and Jimmy at JKs and would always say hi to one another.
I’m so very sorry for your trendies loss. Jimmy truly was one of a kind. Such a kind, gentle man. Thank you for serving our country.
My deepest condolences to the family.
